Education and Training
Matrix Association Management is committed to the ongoing training and skills development of all of our community managers. Industry knowledge and professionalism are the hallmark of our property managers.  We provide critical support to our team and Association Board members. We believe the best way to do this is to provide them with the support and training that will allow them to be the very best they can be at delivering exceptional service.

To facilitate the ongoing education, skills development and industry knowledge we provide ongoing training opportunities throughout the year.

We encourage all of our managers to attend industry training opportunities as offered by Condominium Association Institute, (CAI) and California Association of Community Managers, (CACM). In addition, we offer specific training as offered by vendors to expand our manager’s knowledge base to the benefit of our clients.

Additionally, we appreciate the time commitment that Board members make in serving their communities. In order to help them in their role as a Board member we provide, at no additional charge, training opportunities as offered by various trade and industry specific organizations.

Our Commitment towards Green – Sustainability

We at Matrix Association Management believe we have the responsibility to be a wise stewards of scarce resources by reducing the use of non-renewable resources and increasing energy efficiency. Matrix is also committed to promoting the continued economic and ecological viability of the State by working with our client’s to achieve this end.

The following measures have been implemented to the full extent of the Matrix Green and Sustainable program guidelines and checklist, as outlined below for Single Family or Multifamily communities. Following is a brief narrative of some of  standards we adhere to:

LANDSCAPING:
bulb with a treeNo Invasive Species – No plants in the yard are listed on California Invasive Plants List.

50% of Plants are Drought-tolerant – To qualify for this measure 50 % of plants must meet the listed designations from any one of the following four reference sources or equivalent local resource.

CHEMICAL USAGE:
Cleaning Products, Weed and Pest Control – All chemicals are to be non-toxic. Vendors are required to provide Material Safety Data Sheets, (MSDS) for products used within our client’s community.

RECYCLING:
Vendors/Contractors – All service providers are required to recycle whenever possible, e.g. landscape waste and construction debris.

C3 STORM WATER AND MAINTENANCE:
Bio-Swale Maintenance – Our Company has extensive experience in working with bio-swales and the C3 storm water maintenance program.
